Keep on top of the awkward areasA longer coat often needs attention before the next full groom is due. Friction from a harness, damp legs and soft hair behind the ears can all make daily brushing harder. A maintenance visit focuses on those areas and the coat care you can realistically do at home. It does not replace a full wash and haircut.A focused visitWe check the coat with you, then gently brush and comb suitable areas. Small tidy-ups around feet or the eyes can be discussed beforehand. If knots are too tight to work through comfortably, we explain the alternatives. We do not promise to save every centimetre of coat.Check common friction points and hidden tanglesBrush and comb manageable sectionsPractise a technique with the tools you use at homeWhat to bring upTell us which parts take the most time and bring your brush or comb if you want advice on using it. Mention recent bathing and any areas your dog avoids having touched. We suggest an interval based on coat length, condition and your routine. If a full groom would be more useful, we discuss that before extending the visit.
